Applicant must possess the following skills:
Batch concrete using manual and computerized systems.
Troubleshoot problems in a dry batch concrete plant.
Troubleshoot minor problems with rear discharge mixers.
Be able to take orders and determine yardage.
Have the ability to schedule available trucks to meet the orders.
Communicate professionally with customers and have ability to attract future business.
Have a basic knowledge of concrete finishing problems and their causes.
Be able to give direction to employees under their supervision.
Self motivated and ability to solve problems as they arise
Order and coordinate deliveries from our suppliers as well as internal inventory
Have a working knowledge of the various ACI tests.
Be able to follow direction from supervisors.
Promote a safe work environment.
Ability to think like an owner & balance profitability with business reinvestment
The following skills are preferred:
ACI level 1 certification.
Class B CDL or greater.
Loader experience.
Ability to operate a rear discharge mixer.
MSHA part 46 and 48 miner certification.
Have a working knowledge of colored concrete and Solomon color systems.
Have knowledge of WR Grace concrete admixtures.
Mechanical knowledge.
